The Harmony Ridge West Apartments independent living expansion added 56 apartment units and enhanced community center components to the Cross Keys Village Community. The one- and two-bedroom apartments range in size from 800 to 1,750 square feet and feature 9-foot ceilings, private balconies, walk-in closets, and a mechanical room that is accessible from the hallway so as to avoid the disruption of residents by maintenance staff. Additions to the community center included a multi-purpose room, business center, cafe, and wellness center. The Harvey S. Kline Wellness Center, named after the former Brethren Home Community president features a pool, spa, fitness studio, private changing rooms, arts and crafts studio, and the Sheer Harmony Salon and Spa. This 95,245 square foot addition and expansion project totaled $13 million in construction costs. Reese Hackman provided the electrical, lighting, mechanical, and plumbing design services for Harmony Ridge West Apartments.
